Dawn is a Michigan-based artist whose journey has been shaped by both compassion and creativity. For 23 years, she dedicated herself to a career as a registered nurse, enhancing the lives of the elderly with care and empathy. Throughout her life, art has been a constant presence, a space for expression, healing, and discovery.

From an early age, Dawn explored various creative outlets, including music, painting, and fiber arts. What began as a passion evolved into a profound calling, leading her to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Grand Valley State University. Now a full-time student, she is fully immersed in her artistic practice, refining her voice and expanding her techniques.

As an abstract painter, Dawn embraces a multimedia approach, integrating traditional methods with collage, fiber, and wood. Her work is deeply intuitive, drawing inspiration from spirituality, nature, and the emotional landscapes of human experience. Through layers of texture and color, she invites viewers into a world where the unseen and the felt become tangible.
